On Monday, November 3rd, SPARK had it’s first Pumpkin Chuck! SPARK families donated 157 leftover pumpkins after Halloween for our students to use for various math and science activities throughout the day (including the Great Pumpkin Drop engineering challenge). Then the pumpkins were picked up by Compost Wheels to be composted, creating rich soil for our school’s rooftop garden!
