We were so excited to taste the honey that the bees made for us! There was an overwhelming response of kids that loved the honey (and had a new respect for how hard a bee worked to create it for them). Check out photos from the harvest here!
We also had the special treat of visiting with our beekeeper, Mr. Jon, on the last day of school. He came out to speak to our third graders, show them some of the tools of his trade, and demonstrate how he checks on the bees and the honey.
