The USDA, Food and Nutrition Services Department has recognized Springdale Park as a bronze award winner in the HealthierUS School Challenge, part of Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Campaign. We were recognized for creating healthier school environments through our promotion of good nutrition and physical activity and we will receive $500 to continue improving nutrition and physical activity at our school. We are working towards the silver award for next year!
