Thank you to Yvonne Douglas of the APS Facilities Department for sending the Waste Pro Recycling truck out to visit our school! The classes that correctly sorted their trash for the SPARK Recycles Challenge last week were invited to come see the truck. Students learned about where their recyclables go after they put them in their classroom recycling bins. They also got to meet their driver and see the truck in action!
The winning classes were:
1st Place – Ms. Bryant’s Class
2nd Place – Ms. White and Mr. Smiley’s Class
3rd Place – Ms. M, Ms. Perry, Ms. Lockwood, and Ms. Thurman’s Class
