Food Co-Op: February 11

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to present healthy recipes and cooking techniques to a group of folks in the Reynoldstown community that were receiving boxes of food from the Atlanta Community Food Bank. I worked so hard to prepare appropriate materials because I knew the opportunity for impact was so great – since I was not only working directly with the men and women that would be preparing meals for their family but also sending them home with all of the ingredients they needed. I can’t help but wonder if they’ve looked at their box of food a little differently this time around or if they’ve tried any of the recipes I provided them with. Here’s hoping something stuck 🙂
